Terms & Conditions

We are very excited that you are considering us for your next catering event. We’re sure that we will not disappoint you! That being said, we do want to make sure that you know our terms and conditions so that there are no surprises. Booking and Final Numbers

We would appreciate at least 7 business days notice in order for you to book your event, select your menu and confirm your total.
In order to fully lock in your date, we will require a confirmation email and a 50% deposit of the total cost provided in the contract. We will also require the address, time of delivery, approximate number of people and the menu selection in order to finalize your order.
Events involving over 100 people require that you contact us as soon as possible so we can plan the details and best serve your event. Number of people and menu selection must be confirmed 7 business days prior to the event.


Payment Information

The final invoice will be submitted to you via email within 2 business days after your event and your payment is due 30 days after your event. We accept cheque, Visa and MasterCard payments.


Equipment

If you require equipment such as plates, cutlery, cups, serviettes or stir sticks, please specify with your order request so that we can include them within your estimate. Platters and serving utensils are included with each order.

Please note that drivers do not return to pick up this equipment and they belong to you moving forward.


Delivery Charges

We are pleased to offer free delivery on all catering orders.


Menu Items and Special Dietary Requests

Certain menu items are subject to change due to availability. FoodWorks has a selection of gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options available. For specific dietary requests, please specify within your request and conversations with our coordinator what these may be. If possible, we will accommodate these needs. It should be noted that there will be additional charges for special requirements.
FoodWorks does not work in an allergen-free facility and it is important to notify any of your guests who may have inhalation or contact allergies as some items may have come into contact with gluten, nut and/or fish.


Cancellation Information

FoodWorks is a social enterprise and relies heavily on the commitment of our catering contracts in order to support the resources required to provide quality services. As such, we request that any cancellations be done at least 2 business days prior to your event. Any cancellations that occur within less than 2 business days will be required to pay 75% of the total contract.
